Who We Are

1. Biblically-Ordered, God-Centered Worship

We gather to meet with the living God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—on His terms, not our own. Our worship is shaped and governed by His Word, because He alone is worthy to define how He is approached. Each Lord’s Day, we come with expectant hearts to behold His glory, to be transformed by His truth, and to encounter His presence through the ordinary means of grace. As Scripture is read, prayers are lifted, songs are sung, the Word is preached, and the ordinances are observed, we are drawn together into joyful, reverent communion with God and one another.

2. Meaningful Membership

We believe church membership is both a gift of grace and a calling for every follower of Christ, as God has not designed His people to walk alone but to belong to a committed local body where faith is lived out together. In the church, we are joined in covenant love—known, cared for, and accountable under Christ’s leadership—pursuing relationships marked by sacrificial love and shared responsibility as we bear one another’s burdens, speak truth, forgive freely, and strive for unity and growth according to the “one another” commands of Scripture. This shared life calls for real commitment, as we devote ourselves to the health, holiness, and mission of the church, offering our time, gifts, and resources for its building up and the advance of the gospel, while faithfully knowing and shepherding one another—pursuing restoration when one strays and, when necessary, practicing loving discipline in obedience to Christ.

3. Expositional Preaching

We believe God speaks, saves, and sanctifies through His Word. Therefore, we are committed to the faithful preaching of Scripture—making clear what God has said and pressing it into the hearts and lives of His people. Through the proclamation of the Word, Christ is exalted, sinners are called to repentance and faith, and believers are formed into His likeness. We sit under the whole counsel of God, trusting that His Word will accomplish His purposes among us.

4. Cultural Mandate & Great Commission Obedience

We are sent into the world as God’s people to make His glory known in every sphere of life. From the beginning, God has called humanity to steward His creation, and in Christ, He has commissioned His church to make disciples of all nations. We embrace this calling by proclaiming the gospel, cultivating faithful lives in our homes, workplaces, and communities, and seeking to see every area of life brought under the lordship of Jesus Christ. Whether near or far, we labor together so that Christ would be known, trusted, and obeyed to the ends of the earth.

5. Family-Integrate Church Life

We believe God has designed the family as a central context for discipleship, and the church as an extended spiritual family where every generation grows together in Christ. Rather than separating ages and stages of life, we seek to worship, learn, and serve side by side—equipping parents to lead their children in the faith and encouraging older and younger believers to walk together in mutual encouragement and example. In this way, we cultivate a church life where the faith is not outsourced, but faithfully passed down, shared, and lived out together for the glory of God.

6. Humble, Prayerful Dependence

We believe that apart from Christ we can do nothing, and therefore we seek to live and labor in continual dependence upon Him. As a church, we pursue humility before God and one another, recognizing our need for His grace in all things. This dependence is expressed through prayer—both personally and corporately—as we seek His wisdom, confess our need, intercede for others, and ask Him to accomplish what only He can. In all our life and ministry, we rely not on our own strength, but on the power and faithfulness of God.
